After years of raising a house full of boys, this recently divorced client was ready for a fresh start in Austin’s coveted Hyde Park—and a home that felt distinctly her own. As an artist and collector, she wanted her interiors to reflect her personality through color, art, and a decidedly feminine sensibility.

Both bathrooms needed significant updates. The hall bath’s unusually low shower ceiling made it uncomfortable to use, while the primary bath lacked the storage and functionality she needed. We transformed the primary bath to fit a generous shower, freestanding tub, custom vanity, and linen storage into a compact footprint without making the space feel crowded. Continuing the floor tile up the back wall draws the eye through the room, creating the illusion of greater space while adding a bold, artful touch.
