The style request from our client for this second home vacation retreat was soft contemporary with a slight coastal feel, but she did not want to go overboard with it. After finishing this beautiful home, our client told us it was the dream house she'd always wanted, which is a great compliment since this is not even her primary residence.

About five months after completing this project, Hurricane Harvey hit Texas and practically leveled many of the towns that lined the coast, including Port Aransas. Our client prepared ahead of time by moving the first floor furniture up to the second floor, and requesting an itemized list from us of purchases she had made through our firm for insurance purposes. Since we had furnished the entire home, we were easily able to access our records and get her all of the information she needed in one place. After the storm settled, the roads reopened and she was able to return to the house, we were all extremely relieved to hear that there had been minimal exterior damage and absolutely no interior damage.
