Custom Pillows for a New York City High-Rise

We recently had a lovely couple that we worked with on construction to transform their master bathroom. Little did we know that shortly after finishing, they would be selling their home and relocating to New York City for work. I told them about our online design features and they decided to bring us on to design their new condo for them as well!

They have a very unique style, with a lot of mid-century modern elements, but also a little bit of an Asian flair which made this a very fun project for us. We specified a beautiful solid wood platform bed from a company that manufactures right here in the United States, and designed a simple bedding layout with a few custom pillows to enhance the Asian feel but not make it overpowering. I think the most difficult thing about this project was that the allowances we typically use in our space plans for things like proper walking clearance go completely out the window in these more compact east coast condos. I guess we are all just too used to having a little more room to spread out here in Texas!
