From My Coffee Table to Yours: Celerie Kemble

Anyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with black and white interiors. The house that I had in my mid-twenties was all black and white with a few pops of color. This book by Celerie Kemble is a compilation of works by several different designers, all featuring black and white spaces. This book has been great inspiration for traditional, transitional and contemporary interiors alike. I always find myself wanting to stick by the tried-and-true classic style, which can also be paired with literally any color if black and white alone is too boring for you (although I personally don't see how the stark contrast of black and white could ever be considered boring). I say if you want to create some interiors that will have both drama and stand the test of time, go black and white.

Designing spaces you love to live in,

Since 2015, I have helped over 100 interior designers, builders, builders, and architects – from those just starting out to award-winning designers published in Architectural Digest, Luxe, and more.

My process starts with what is already true within you, then brings it to life in a way that resonates with your ideal clients.

I work with designers because they’re awesome. I’m a member of IDS (Interior Design Society) and served on the board of the Virtual Chapter. Design events I’ve attended include High Point, Vegas Market, and BOLD Summit (Business of Luxury Design).

When I’m not creating brands and websites, you can find me listening to audiobooks and going on long speed walks with friends.

I’m from Seattle and now live in New York City with my wife, Gaby.
