We were hired by our client outside of the D. C. area to take a dingy, under-used basement space and turn it into a fantastic media room with a sleeper sofa so that the space could be converted to a guest retreat when needed for visitors. Our guidelines were to keep the existing laundry area and for the space to have a masculine nautical vibe to it.
